I’ve been wagering poker now for about five years, I’ve bet cards my entire life beginning with games of Gin Rummy for pennies with my Grand Mother, to all of the various types of Brag and general random games such as Go Fish, Crash and one so gracefully called, card on head casino game. I used to always win, whatever game we were playing and even though I liked to call it skill, it was incredibly difficult to warrant thinking about the randomness of the games we were wagering, so I was over joyed to accept I was having a prolonged run of luck.
Then came Poker, or additional importantly Holdem Poker, made famous by a bunch of Texas card gamblers in the sixties and since grown into one of the biggest card phenomena ever observed.
