I’m sure just about anybody who has played hold em poker in the place where they provide alcohol consumption has had this encounter at one time or another. Everyone at the table was truly great with the exception for Mr. I’m all in simply because I am inebriated. He had such a terrible disposition and I felt like I was on the net wagering in a freeroll for a moment simply because he would just maintain going all in. He’d sometimes just call a bet. Every time he would just call, I understood he had a nasty hand.
So, when it was my turn to call, I would raise with my excellent pocket pairs or my ace something. Every time he remained in a hand all the way to the river and then try to bluff. It was nearly as if he wanted to give away his chips.
I wagered at that specific table for at least 3 hours and I counted no less than 4 times the man went to the Atm and returned with at least $200 in chips. I would say I almost certainly got at the least half of what he brought to the table.
The following day, after I got home and counted my profits, I kind of felt bad for succeeding all that money. Except then again, that dude shouldn’t have been betting texas holdem poker though he was drunk!
Some persons might say that if I have to question my behavior, then sure, it most likely was not the proper point to do. But, do I feel bad about it, not really.
My viewpoint on taking a drunken person’s cash at the poker table is that if they’re stupid sufficient to wager on while intoxicated and is being reckless, then have at it!
