Web poker has become globally celebrated lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years several variants on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier declares "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players attain five cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s first card, you must in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s value is akin to your beginning wager, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes immediately to the casino. After the wager is the conclusion. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, with an amount on par with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The bank pays out cash equal to your bet and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
