Caribbean Poker Rules and Hints

Web poker has become world famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many variants on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to 21 than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the casino instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the dealer broadcasting "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different players receive 5 cards. Once you have observed your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s value is akin to your beginning wager, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the wager is the face off. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with a sum in accordance with the original wager. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The casino pony’s up chips equal to your initial bet and controlled expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
