Online poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variants on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different gamblers are given five cards each. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you must either make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s amount is equal to your beginning ante, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantaneously to the dealer. After the wager comes the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a figure in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The bank pays out money even with your ante and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
