Online poker has become globally famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with 21 than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the house instead of each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the croupier saying "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players receive five cards. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s first card, you must in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your bet goes instantaneously to the house. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with a sum on par with the ante. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The bank pony’s up chips equal to your wager and fixed expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
