Web poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the casino instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the croupier broadcasting "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other gamblers receive five cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning ante, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes immediately to the bank. After the bet comes the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, with an amount on par with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The house pays out money even with your initial bet and set odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
