Poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the dealer instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players acquire five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s initial card, you need to either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original wager, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes instantly to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, with a sum on par with the initial bet. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays out cash equal to your bet and set expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
